I have always been curious how well a hot line set up works, I know they were popular in the late eighties, early nineties, but I have no experience with any of those, so I can't offer any advice on the hot line set up..... Maybe someone else on here could comment on their performance?

I decided to disconnect them when I lost the oil cooler and save the headache of routing water lines back under the bunk for both tanks. Honest to God truth is that I have had no more or less problems with cold fuel or gelling I'm sure they have their place where it gets brutally cold such as Canada Alaska and up in norther North Dakota but I can't see a use for them south of about Mobridge. One other item it seems as though I have had less of an alge problem. I had alge 2 times in 2 years with fox heaters, and I'm not going to blame the fox heaters for it I may not have fully killed it off the first go round but since I've removed them never had alge since.
