END DUMP MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

What are the MINIMUM requirements that an end dump needs to be in order to haul, let's say a full load of Fertlizer? I've got a 30 footer but the sides aren't tall enough to haul most loads other than sand and gravel... I have no problem hauling sand and gravel but would like to possibly upgrade my trailer to haul some of the loads that I see posted on here. I need to know the length of the trailer and the height of the sides... I also see that it's good to have the coal door as well......

For fertilizer (which is 95% of what I haul) you can haul any fertilizer in a 39 foot half round dump. The only fertilizer that completey fills the trailer is Urea, Potash and phosphates you can haul no problem. I wouldn't go any smalller then this. I have the 60 inch walls. Keep in mind its tough for me to get a full load of grain on this trailer but I just do not haul much of it. Any other questions let me know.

I have a frameless aluminum MAC 40x102x73 spread axle with 3 way gate and liner. I can haul almost anything.
because of the height I added flex bows. Some loaders aren't tall enough to not hit the bows.
otherwise the lightest product I move is unpelleted soy hulls and I can get 21-22 ton it is completely full.
liner is the best investment. With it about half way through the 3rd stage any product is out the back in a pile.
dense products like sand, stone , and slag will exit without having to raise the bed all way to top.
