Meanwhile the Fed is solving the problem of too much cheap money by printing more cheap money and using it to bailout the banks.

Silicon Valley Bank board had 1 banker on, the rest were Democrat donors. Barney Frank who wrote the law on banking reform was on the board.

You want to make this political. You're not rich enough to play in the same league as these guys. Republican, democrat, I don't care. Rich people don't care. When you have the insane amounts of money that the rich do, you don't care who is in power as long as you can still make the laws. The rich don't care about Democracy, fascism, communism, Nazism, civil rights, social issues, or anything. All they care about is how much of their money can they not pay taxes on. They just want power. Money is power.

So make it political, but it makes no difference whether it's democrat or republican. The taxpayer is bailing out the mistakes of the rich every time. Whoever you think is looking out for you... ISN'T unless you have lots of money to pay for their attention.

Well said. I was getting scared there wasn't any free thinkers out there anymore.

Until the economy improves and trucks go back to other markets I don’t see anything improving, the Fed says it wants to drive wages down, but given the fact that many people stopped having children several decades ago do to wage suppression there is going to remain a shortage of labor, opening the border may get you more people but the shortage of affordable housing would nullify that plan, in all reality Jerome Powell cannot get us out of this by raising interest rates or printing more money, BTW how’s the war in Ukraine working out for the supply chains?

Don't hold your breath, folks. It isn't happening because dumb a$$es keep pulling the cheap rates for them. I know one company out of Greenville, OH has cut everyone's throat over here so. Don't expect it anytime soon

Like you I keep hearing the demand for trucks will increase, lack of drivers, trucking companies GOB so on and so forth. Brokers want their freight moved but they still don't want to pay. $4 a loaded mile just does't cut it anymore. They keep offering rates from the 90's and get offended when you say you can't run it for that. If I want to lose money then I'll just stay parked in the driveway and sell c*** on Ebay.

You are aware that the last administration rolled back the laws and restrictions put in place after the 2008 recession. We have to stop this silly mess. Stop listening to people with something to sell and just get the facts. Democrats or Republicans on the board couldn't have done this without the guardrails being removed. Period
