Commodity service had 600000$ stolen from the company.

they were brokers.who stole money. How much did they steal from truckers

I work with commodity sometimes when stranded. No issues

how much does a broker need to live compared to a trucker. Fuel tire's maintenance salary replacement engine electrical issues

broker. Computer phone

maybe that is a reason a broker is a untrustworthy individual in the trucking industry.

They never disclose what they make per load

they say it is not your concern

i had Linear Grain out of Manitoba refuse to pay $75,000 of deliviered in good condition loads, it's not just brokers, if they think they can screw you, they will.

I too have experienced our justice system favors the criminals. And I don't wish embezzlement on anyone. But 600K is alot for a nonshipper. Co/double brokering loads must pay extremely high. I hope all works out well for CSI.

The people who have been charged, started a brokerage. Ciro Transport. It may be wise to avoid doing business with someone in the middle of defending themselves, against a felony.

I'm sure that wasn't 600k in profit that was stolen..... any company could have over 600k receivables and payables at any given time - doesn't mean that you have 600k in profit. Just cause you are a broker doesn't mean you are making a killing and cheating everyone.

You can't blame a person for working hard and making money...now if that is what came to him personally and the broker company share was larger that is a different story.

If I run my truck 25,000 miles should I make the same as you running 100,000 miles? No. Apply that scenario to Chad's situation.

It doesn't really matter.

You do realize 7.3% of $2,000,000.00 is only $146,000 right?

7.3% of $8,000,000.00 is only $584,000

How many people did it take to turn those numbers? That's not getting rich in my book for all the B.S. they deal with. No way I'd take that deal. But, everybody's different.

600k is 600k. They are a large company and do more than bulk, but I guarantee they'll feel that one.

No way would I want to be a broker or even a carrier with multiple trucks. It would be like herding cats.

What makes me mad is .... These brokers hoard loads with no coverage Those of us that run our own trucks that can cover a majority of open loads Don't get offered many of them

I've seen 35 plus percent taken off original rates by Brokers

What's wrong with posting 7.3 %? He didn't put a gross figure out there, someone else did. I merely used the hypothertical numbers to show they aren't getting rich like many believe they are.

And what if the carrier made $8.00 a running mile on that load? Who in the hell cares what anyone makes. as long as YOU make what you think is a good payday? It makes NO difference.

There are alot of cost involed in running the brokerage. I have Workman comp insurance, Internet , phones, Office space, I have to admin people that have to be paid for. We have 75,000 bond that has to be paid for. I wish we got rich but the truth is we really dont get rich.. I try and treat drivers like human beings. I used to be a driver myself and hav enot for got where i came from.. IF the drivers treat us right we will treat them right.. I will come of my margin to take care of the carrier as much as i can.. I am not asking for sympathy i know every one has costs. I am jsut stating that i will not hide anything and will take of the carriers as much as i can.. I dont keep Fuel or any Assecorials.
