Some of you brokers need to come out here and try to survive on the rate your giving, YOU'D NEVER MAKE IT!!! I'm still seeing rates at 1.68per mile. Im mean really!! I'm on a straight contract now, so I don't have to deal with a broker anymore!! For all you new guys stop taking those stupid rates. If you need help ASK FOR IT. If you're not sure on a rate, research it.

I would say that to the shippers. Why is it always a brokers fault? Maybe try and go directly to the shipper yourself instead of letting the brokers STEAL all that "profit margin" that you are posting about? Try building a relationship with people.Enough of the negative waves man! |

I don't need a broker. I barely use this app anymore because of the connections I've made.

I couldn't agree more. Something I've preached about in the forum often. Many of you know we now pull a couple of Utility refers with Star 5700se tractors. It has taken me a while, thanks to the virus B.S., to secure private contracts. Two out of the Chicago area, with one going to the Maryland area and one going to Texas, with contracts returning. I alternate my nephew and his buddy on the runs, so they are not continually running to the same place each trip. This breaks up the monotony and the fellows like it. This may be a suggestion to any of you running more than your own rig. Also, we are very happy running Allison transmissions, vs. the DT-12. Something else one of you, thinking about buying another tractor, may want to concider. Get contracts, gentlemen |
