In Midwest you can go to 85500 with a 50' spread

In my case, my empty weight is 27,500. If I load 52,500, the trailer axles will always be overweight. I can move the fifth wheel to adjust the drives, but the trailer will always be over. The only solution is to load to 78,000. By getting the spread, I can now load to 80,000 and have legal axle weights. So, 2 ton per day, over the life of the trailer, adds up. I would by another one.
