All I have been hearing on the news and everywhere else there's a shortage of trucks and drivers?? I contacted Walmart and Hyvee to see if they might need power to deliver groceries and no response. Anyway if somebody out there needs power in Ne, Ia, SD, Mo, please get ahold of me I also have a tri-axle grain trailer and a 53' air ride dry van, and a 53' drop deck for hay if somebody needs some hauled and I have refer experence. I also know 2 or 3 good bull haulers that the cattle hauling has died and would be good owner/ops that also would help out. Thanks

There's not a shortage of trucks. Rates are too low. We aren't going to work for free .

Walmart doesn't hire owner operators, not sure about hy vee, But the reefer rush is over their rates are ridiculously low right now as is all of trucking.

no shortage of trucks,there appears to be 5 trucks for every load,driving rates to a 40 year low.

If supply and demand are still relevant, rates would dictate there is no shortage, but if you are a broker who wants a cheaper truck?

I have trucks sitting at home! If we are going to lose money, we might as well be at home!

I didn't mean to cause an uproar I listen to the farm network on siris xm and they said thats's why meat and produce weren't getting to the stores. So I just threw it out there. I pull a belly dump for the county and state for the summer with rock and gravel and we are staying very busy and the rates haven't changed. I just thought if it met kids not going hungry because there was a shortage I would try to help out and run some loads at night or weekends. Was just trying to do the right thing. But if what you guy's are saying about rates I understand and apologize!! Thanks for responding.

I have 2 reefers also,and have noticed the average rate is approximately 1.50 per mile currently,needless to say they are not on any of my trailers,but have seen some loads offered at .90 per mile,and the sad thing about it,is some sorry sack of $#!@ outfit will haul them.
