Happens every time the oil field slows down. Oil prices are creeping up again so they should go away again. If you know they are hauling heavy, make a call and turn them in.

It’s been this way since 1980, in the last 40 years I haven’t seen anyone yet that could build a company, and sell it for a reasonable price, 99% either file bankruptcy or force the business onto their kids, and hope they don’t default.

this is why i dont hire them, they have no respect for the road weights and totally screw up my contract amounts, the last one was such a disaster the carrier didnt even charge me for the load it was so embarassing.

Depends on who you get to take over. Not an easy job to make a company go.

Hello, owner of Krueger logistics, well the oilfield has slowed down we have always hauled grain, actually hauled grain years before we ever went to the oilfield. We hauled grain last year also, we also have gravel trucks running. Now about the rate thing, we haven't cut rates, the rates really couldn't be cut anymore. Now the hauling heavy thing I can assure you all our trucks are running legal weights, actually most of them are running under weight. If you would like I can send you my number and we can discuss this? Making claims like this isn't a great idea on the Internet.

I could make so many remarks about your school comment. Lol, I'll hold my tongue on this one though.

Good luck to you. You got my phone number if you need it.

The ones that haul 1000 bushels have extra axle. Light bridge they have an extra 12 miles. 1.75 hours for 90 bucks is not good. You cant haul by the mile on that short of run.

The 2 mentioned aren’t the only oilfield companies doing this

the drivers Came up here because they couldn’t hold a job where they came from

just look at the news how infested Nd is now with drugs

when the oilfield left the first time they left the scum they are still here sucking the food pantry dry draining the social programs that are for people who actually need them

Went by Alexander yesterday and it appears that maybe the oilfield should clean up the trash within 40 miles of there. Or maybe I am wrong with the pails pee bottles and fast food garbage. Maybe that was the locals that did all of that.

Driving in western Nd has its challenges Oil water and gravel haulers should. From the start should have been paid by the hour not by the load. The gravel roads are all beat up from the speed to get the extra load.

Stop signs don’t exist to the oilfield

the 2 mentioned are guilty of all the above along with all in trucking.

In 1994 there were 113 registered sex offenders in the state now over 650 how many are not registered. You can’t not hire that scum because of their sexual preference

the law enforcement in the surrounding are constantly picking up the drug transportation so there still has to be a demand. Drug testing should be on a weekly basis

amazing how many out of state plates are still around I assume employers do know that vehicles and drivers license must be transferred to Nd in a given time period

So if the grain was to dry up would all of you expert grain haulers just sit at home and not work? Can’t do that forever so sometimes you got to do what you got to do. Don’t be mad at the truck driver for cutting rates instead ask the broker you have apparently have such a great relationship with.

At a certain point it becomes more economical to sit at home than to work. Hauling of 1.40/mi is will not work for a comercial hauler.

Guess I should have read that last sentance before I hit submit!
