Paccar MX 12.9L on a 2012 Pete 388 day Cab, Thoughts?

I bought it on a whim, without doing much research. Now im trying to do some research and it seems like people either love it or hate, no facts just opinions. Just seeing if anyone has any experiance on these engines and what your thoughts are.

Well I have been running that engine since 2015 and it has been a great engine the Early ones some were good and every now and then there was a bad one. The only reason I heard of making them bad was the fuel mileage. If you bought it right it should make a good truck. By the way we pull up to 120,000 with our Pacar 12.9 s.
