Hello Everyone, Wanted to chime in and remind everyone of some of the rules of the forums and get some feedback from you all. We want the forums to be welcoming to everyone and a place we can all have a meaningful and beneficial discussion about the industry. Moving forward, we will be a bit more proactive in making sure posts go to their appropriate categories so they can provide the most value to everyone. A quick reminder on some rules: - NO vulgarity or excessive language on the forums - NO calling out individuals on the forums, leave a review under their profile - Posts about companies will now be posted in Reviews (if applicable) as they are originally intended instead of on the forums. If you want to know how to leave a review, watch this video from our youtube channel or give us a call and we will be happy to show you how: https://youtu.be/udK2thKqCF8 If a post does not pass these guidelines, we will delete and you will get an email from [email protected] explaining why the post was not approved. We want as many people active on the forums as we can, so we would love to hear from you all as well on how to improve the Forums in the future. Any ideas or suggestions, leave them below. If every conversation is to be welcoming, rainbows and unicorns, I doubt it will be very productive, and much more boring for sure. If you are going to have a rule like: “NO vulgarity or excessive language on the forums”, who decides what is vulgar or excessive, you, or anyone who gets their feelings hurt? You should clearly define what is considered “vulgarity”, and “excessive” language. What one person thinks is vulgar, others may not think twice about. This is a trucking industry forum, we are at our core, blatantly honest, direct, and usually don’t mince words. I don’t think we are rainbows and unicorn type of people. There is plenty of that on Facebook, and Twitter. As Dennis Miller once said, “the world is a tough place, if you are easily offended, wear a cup”. I think that is funny shit! See, I may have already broken the rule, which is why I did a strike through, because I don’t want to end up in Bulkloads jail. I do enjoy the forums as they are, if I cared about being politically correct, or worried about a few words being offensive, I’d go to Facebook or Twitter, neither of which I give a shit about. Damn, I did it again, sorry 😊 PS I need a new long sleeve Bulkloads T-shirt!

Here is some feedback for you:

"We want the forums to be welcoming to everyone and a place we can all have a meaningful and beneficial discussion about the industry."

Sometimes, to have a "meaningful beneficial discussion", the topic is not "welcoming" it is pointed and direct or a little messy. If every conversation is to be welcoming, rainbows and unicorns, I doubt it will be very productive, and much more boring for sure.

If you are going to have a rule like: “NO vulgarity or excessive language on the forums”, who decides what is vulgar or excessive, you, or anyone who gets their feelings hurt? You should clearly define what is considered “vulgarity”, and “excessive” language. What one person thinks is vulgar, others may not think twice about.

This is a trucking industry forum, we are at our core, blatantly honest, direct, and usually don’t mince words. I don’t think we are rainbows and unicorn type of people. We carriers use this forum to let each other know where trouble spots are and who can be trusted in this ever changing industry! There is a new broker around every corner and some are not so savory. Those of us that have been in this business a LOOOONNNNNGGGG time (pre bulk loads) know who the good brokers are and good carriers! With the rule changes that our glorious government bestowed on us, we have seen a glut of new brokers. Some good and some bad and some really good! In the carrier world, time and equipment position is vital! If, as a carrier, you have drivers you trust to be where they need to be when they need to be there, you are always a day to two days ahead of them and if there is a breakdown, you adjust and communicate with the companies you work with IMMEDIATELY. This forum is exactly as Barry said, a place where we can voice our honest opinions and let the rest of the trucking world know what we encounter that others should be aware of. We are not thin skinned pussies who need a time out for a semi bad word now and then! Just my 2 cents on the subject!

I don't initiate many posts on the forum and do chime in from now and then. Those of us that have been in this business a LOOOONNNNNGGGG time (pre bulk loads) know who the good brokers are and good carriers! I realized, while there aren't many words that trigger or offend me, I realized there is one word that I find highly offensive, and every time I hear it I'm triggered like a snowflake and need a "safe space". I bet there are many of you that feel the same way. On the other hand, there are those of you that won't find this word triggering at all. Actually, you will probably realize you use it daily, every chance you get, even if doesn't fit into the situation. I don't hate many thing in this world, but this one word drives me crazy, ok, I hate it. I believe if any word in the English language deserves to be on the naughty list, and get the people who use it banished to the lowest place in Bulkload Jail, and cancelled, this word is it...Anybody have it figured out yet? The word is...I can hardly make my brain type it.. It's BACKHAUL😳🤦‍♂️🤬🤬 Have a good evening everybody 😂😂😂
