Anyone haul corn gluten meal in a hopper on a regular basis? Had someone reach out to me about some. I run a 42x78x96 with 36 inch doors. How does it come out?

The loads I've hauled have been fine. Your results may vary.

Cody, is it guten pellets or gluten meal in a wet cake form? I've only hauled the pellets. It probably depends on where the gluten is coming from, how wet it is, and how long it will sit on your trailer. I've hauled gluten pellets from ADM in Clinton, IA that came out of my belt trailer like a log. I've seen gluten pellets come from another location that unloaded out of a hopper really well. I have also known of hopper guys getting rejected because they can't get the gluten out of the trailer... A lot of variables there. If it's a short haul I would give it a try. Best of luck!

We run dumps, pellets can be sticky especially in the summer. Haven't ever noticed a problem with the meal gluten. I'd give it a try if the rate works for you.

Same here I've had gluten pellets from Clinton, IA set up harder than a rock in the time it took me to drive from Clinton to the feed mill in Bartlett KS in my hopper took 4 hours to dig it out in the middle of corn harvest

I have loaded corn gluten meal out of Monroe WI and it comes out with no problem and you can load 50,000 lb. I have loaded pellets out of Clinton IA. Never again.
