Just heads up to anyone posting on bulk loads . What ever you post on here is not private. Anything you say may come up on the internet when they google your name. I had this happen , comment on a forum that we thought was just for this load board, but is made public to the whole internet.

Pretty good rule of thumb regardless is "Dont post, text or othewise put into print anything you arent willing to say out in the open". Pretty much sums up any social media.

We've made immediate changes to the site so that no names are shown on forum messages unless you're a logged in member.

This will stop search engines from indexing this information.

Hi Randy,

The only way someone will be able to see your name on any forum related post/reply is if they have an account and are logged into it. Otherwise, it says "Posted by a private BulkLoads.com member." The forum is now private from the general public, but remains open to BulkLoads members.

Sounds to me it’s for the cowards that don’t want anyone to see what they post. Meaning they prolly don’t have anything nice to say.
