Wash out questions

Dec 24, 2020 at 02:38 PM CST
Recently had a load that was supposed to have a "Certified " washout. Went same place as always. Dannys in Phoenix. They new nothing about Certified. All washes I've had for walking floors were just could water with pressure. I've never been anywhere that offered "Certified " wash. Can someone tell me what is a Certified wash vs what i normally get? We have a mobile wash guy that washes exterior of trailer. Can he do a interior washout? When i delivered no one questioned the paperwork i turned in, but would like to be more clear for future. I usually have to get a wash out in Phoenix then go home and wash it again cause they don't care. Thanks Art Pfluger

there is a washout in Alabama don't recall where but he stamps his receipts certified, as far as I can tell it's just a stamp did not see any think different than a washout, and I have never been told certified washout. So hopefully someone might have more insight on this. Personally I think it just the broker , because I was offered a load the other week broker said washout required well that's bull because I load at the place every week, you only need copy of previous load and besides they inspect your trailer before they load you

Even Blue Beacon does't have certified wash outs.

As long as you have a reciept you should be good

I would like think if you choose a reputable company to wash with a good receipt and phone number to track back if needs be that you should be fine. Now if your doing something fishy and they start asking then you are on your own. Never dealt with a certified wash request either but I did need to wash at a broker requested location a time or 2.

I was told that a printed computer copy with a business name. Was certified wash out. Not a hand written copy.

I had to have washouts for certain loads in hopper. All I had to do in some places was just sign that I did wash it out. A couple places wanted s washout ticket to show I paid for s washout. No one ever asked for certified. Never heard of that even after hauling bone and meat meal.

I see no reason why your company can't do it.
