My next tanker will definitely be a center double conical. 90 percent of the time I can adjust position for the rear unload, or dolly down to raise the front high enough, or if you have an air ride you can dump the air on the trailer to get the rear low enough, but every once in a while you'll get somewhere that makes excessive heel unavoidable.

It's probably different for every situation, but I usually carry two 3inch hoses. 20ft long. I have female cam locks on each end. Then I have a toolbox full of 3 inch 90 degree elbows, male x make 3 inch and female x female 3 inch and male x female 3 inch and a 3 inch to 2 inch reducer as well as a couple 2 inch adapters male x female ect. Carry lots of extra o rings. I also like to carry a couple of sealable 5 gallon buckets. 3m makes some. That way I can empty heal or get the spills caught from unhooking couplers. I keep the heel. Washouts charge alot for that. Good luck

Yes - that was an oversight on my part. Food Grade tanks are needed. |

Food Grade needed / Kosher Certified ideal, but I believe a level 3 kosher wash and prior 3 loads is workable. (I'm far from the expert). Some locations require pumps and hoses and some don't. I know we haul 48,000 lbs and the commodity is around 7.68 lbs/gallon so around 6500+ gallon tanks are workable. |
