Patience?

The moment I get something covered, I find out it's already been booked by my client with someone else?? I just don't understand. Bulk loads are not easy - if they were... this website wouldn't exist. My company doesn't pay for this tool, I do - to all of the folks I have worked with and will work with - just know there's good Brokers out there and we care about you. How do you personally speaking communicate the importance of patience & flexibility with Customers? I'm trying my best but lately demands are immediate coverage/bookings without much days notice.

Not to be a dick, but if you don't have the load in hand and the person who called you on it gets it from someone who has the load in hand, does that not cut out one percentage in the equation? If the same load is on the board with multiple people, there is a pretty good chance that the load is on the board with the direct customer or with the direct broker. If you are reposting other brokers loads, you need to go find your own. Don't take the easy way out. Just like you, we all pay for our subscriptions to this site so we will make the most money possible utilizing what we pay for. That's just good business, not impatience!

Not to be a dick, but if you don't have the load in hand and the person who called you on it gets it from someone who has the load in hand, does that not cut out one percentage in the equation? Bulk loads has many tools to find directs, as well as carriers to cover these loads without actually posting the load. If your “customer” is covering the load before you do, chances are everybody and there dog is on the same email list. Hit the trenches, find those unicorns, and then find carriers willing to work with you all the time. Nobody knowing your business is the best business to be in.
