As I travel around the nation picking up and dropping bulk loads in all the back woods of America, On more than one occasion I've discovered old cars project muscle cars on the side of the road in people's backyards or even for sale my problem is I would like to purchase them but I don't know how we get the car back home to California nor do I know how to turn this 70' truck around to try to get a phone number or knock on some stranger's door without being viewed as a threat, does anyone have any ideas

I've had the same thoughts. I drove past a 55 Chevy identical to bob falfa's from American graffiti, went past it once a week for a year, I never had the guts to stop and ask.... now its gone!!! I say stop and ask, or leave a note on the door, call some step deck company and ship it home!
