I have been wanting to buy a truck for a long time. I'm in north texas, Sherman area. What kinds of local owner operator loads can you get around here? Aggregate hauling, cement fly ash? Just curious what I could do and how much I could make.
Thanks guys

Matt

Im in the Amarillo area and I do all kinds of hopper hauling. Im on a permanent contract hauling salt 5 days a week. You just need to research a little.

I just hauled a load from KC to Rio vista for 50 a ton. Hauled one back from fort worth area to southern ks for 36 ton. Grain . Can't say as in the past I had a lot of grain loads coming north from there but there seems to be loads now

Damn Marcus. That worked out good for ya. Seems like hopper around here can stay pretty close to home. I like seeing what's out there.

Matthew - there is a lot of selection; just depends on what equipment you want to buy and what geographic area you want to haul. Lanes change like the weather. Right now the southern area is heavy. Hard to get out of CO. Hard to go north out of TX but yet can go east. In another week or two, north out of TX will be easy because harvest will be in full swing shortly.

If I could just get unloaded here I would be happy. I got plenty of loads around the area to do. Going to grab bean Pellets here in kc tomorrow and take to ks . 18 ton to get me to my next load for 27 ton , oats to Ar.
