Is it possible to have a blower and wet kit on the same truck. With both operational.

I'm looking for guidance from someone that has ACTUALLY done this. Not interested in theories. I already have a Gardner Denver blower and want to add a wet kit. Why? I want a second trailer. I was planning on buying a hopper but the freight rates are horrible. So the new plan is to get a liquid tanker and haul none hazmat liquid. I want both to work. So I can continue to use my pneumatic. I need to be mindful of cost. Because my new to me truck should be ready by May next year and everything will have to be moved. Thanks

I’ve got a fluid pump and a wet kit on my truck depending on tranny there will be 2 spots for pto you’ll have to get an adapter for the passenger side most times

I've done it and it works well. I run the GD off the bottom PTO on my 13speed, bc it is the strongest. I run off the right side PTO with a drivshaft to my hydraulic pump for my end dump. Been working about 4 years that way and no problems.

Thanks for the info. What type of adapter?

Thanks for the info. Do you have two driveshafts?

We have done it also. 8 Bolt bottom opening for the blower with a shaft. Then use the 6 bolt for the hydro pump. I cant recall which pto/pump combo we used for the hydraulics, but we used a direct mount pump by Muncie that could be clocked to the Chelsea pto to miss the frame rails on our Peterbilts. We had to make slight mods to the support bracket just so you are aware.

I used drive shafts on both. It made mounting the hydro pump easier.
