I have a pile of respect for what you Canadians have done in the last week. It's next to impossible to find any information on what's actually going on. Here's what I've seen from the unedited videos of people simply walking around and recording....looks pretty darn peaceful and patriotic, looks like an emergency vehicle lane was left open in Ottawa. To anybody involved, thank you. I'm sure it's hard to set aside the time and effort to go through with it.... and to put all that effort in and have your leader turn his back to you! And for the tiny media coverage that the convoy gets to be total garbage. I see that a T shirt on a statue is considered vandalism, (but spray painting or destroying statues....or burning entire city blocks to the ground isn't) and it's sad to see that they resorted to the same lazy and boring tactics of calling you a fringe racist radical group. Shameful. Good luck to the Canadians, thanks for what you are doing!!!

Its funny how fast the mainstream media is becoming the fringe media, they continue to contradict themselves, one day they try to down play the event claiming there are only 9 or 10 truckers participating, the next day they issue a press release about how the government has EXTRA forces on tap to evict them? And these are the same clowns who are trying to drag us into a war with Russia? If you don’t like the supply chain now, just wait until these cooks light that fuse.

Hey Nancy. I've watched a few interviews with some of the organizers, and protest participants. My impression is that it's a great movement and it's what the world needed. A few of the interviews almost brought me to tears....a few quick Google searches and that hope turns to anxiety. Google is undeniably biased, politically as well as to the highest bidder. Google doesn't show much of the protesters feeding the homeless, picking up trash, shoveling snow, walking around with signs that say free hugs....all the "for profit news" shows is racist, Nazi,(notice how the autocorrect on my phone always capitalized the first letter in Nazi) white supremacists, misogysts, all the usual stuff that nearly every human being thinks is disgusting. It gives me anxiety to see these news and political organizations paint people just like me, in such a terrible way....WHY???. What's the benefit? I don't trust Google, maybe that makes me biased as well. Just for kicks, Google Bulk loads. 9 times out of 10 the first search result won't be this website. This whole protest reminds me of the book "the grapes of wrath" I compare the media smears of this movement to the people trashing the social gatherings that the poor migrants held, just to try to paint them as violent people. I support equality, freedom of speech, freedom to peacefully assemble, I support other people's right to be vaccinated or wear a mask, I support a business owners right to ask me to wear a mask on their property. I disagree with anybody forcing their medical/political opinions on me. My doctor delivered me 35 years ago and he's still my doctor. Half of my local hospital is named after him. I trust him more than I trust Brian stelter, Justin Trudeau, Rachel maddow, joe Biden or any other person that thinks they belong in my medical life and that's why I support this movement and the people sacrificing their time and energy to take part are heroes. They are fighting for our right to be left alone.

I think what this generation is discovering is that nobody is going to give you rights or anything else, they will only take them from you, until you stand up and say no more. Everything you enjoy is because of what someone else did for you, it was all handed to you by your parents and grandparents, your constitutional rights and freedoms, your civil rights, your labor standards, everything, It all came from someone else’s sacrifice, no generation since WW2 has made any sacrifices, and as a consequence everything has been eroded and chipped away at since then, it appears this is a turning point in history where the population is demanding accountability from government, and it appears they are willing to do more than just go to the ballot box.
