Well I'm obviously biased, but...

Belt trailers don't tip, won't take out power lines, can unload indoors, have potential insurance savings, higher payload capacity, more versatility, more control unloading, won't freeze up, and looks good in stainless.

I've pulled both. I'd go with a belt for all the reasons previously listed. And customers really appreciate you can put their products where they want. There's going to be more maintenance on a belt and will be heavier but I feel is a better choice.

I have a really nice Mac end dump for sale . We run couple trinity belts and 1 trail king belt.

I HAVE PULLED BOTH AND YES I HAVE TIPPED OVER. VERY SCARY EXPERIENCE. IF YOU JUST WANT TO HAUL FEED AND VEGETABLES AND MAYBE SAND AND AG LIME I WOULD CHOOSE A BELT. IF YOU NEED TO HAUL MORE AGGREGATE STUFF LIKE ROCK OR SCRAP IRON YOU WILL PROBABY WANT TO CHOOSE A DUMP. INSURANCE IS OBVIOUSLY GOING TO BE MORE WITH A DUMP AND YOU ONLY WANT TO BE USING THEM ON FIRM LEVEL GROUND, SO YOU HAVE TO KNOW AHEAD OF TIME WHAT THE CUSTOMERS UNLOADING PLACE IS GOING TO BE LIKE. ALSO IF YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A DUMP BE SURE TO HAVE WOOD OR RUBBER RUB RAILS AT THE VERY TOP. IT MIGHT SAVE YOU IF YOU EVER HIT A POWER WIRE LINE. ALSO ALWAYS HAVE YOUR SEAT BELT FASTENED WHEN DUMPING! BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT YOU HAUL WHEN TEMPERATURE STARTS FREEZING. BOTH TRAILERS CAN FREEZE UP AND IS A BIG PAIN TO TRY TO CLEAN OUT. WHEN HAULING AGGEGATE AND AG LIME I USED DIESEL FUEL OR ANTI FREEZE. BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT SOMEONE WOULD USE FOR ANIMAL FEEDS. MAYBE VEGETABLE OIL WOULD WORK FOR ANIMAL FEEDS.

I have both I love the idea of the belt and it does very well. The only problem I have is that when you haul different material the belt just does not come clean. If I haul a load of coal then a load of Lime there will be black dust on the lime even if I sweep and clean it out. The dump 2 minutes with the broom and it all clean

Been in the belt trailer buisiness for almost 9 years now. Working in the used side of the business I have sold other brands besides Trinity. Nothing holds up better to years of use than a Trinity. Given that Trinity has specialized in belt trailers for 45 years gives Trinity authority.

I have seen Trinity trailers twisted in ditches and heard of DOT officers ready to "take down" the trailer the moment it's back on the road but have to walk away scratching their heads when they can't find anything wrong with the trailer.

Give these a read below. These are customers who can attest to the longevity of their Trinity belt trailers and why they won't buy anything

Belts are harder to clean out between products. More cross contamination. Depends what you're hauling.

Not always. Each Trinity comes with an estimated weight on the quote. We are within 250lbs or less of that number.

Ok so I have a run paying $7.63 per loaded mile (assuming a 100 CY end dump (no frameless), walking floor or belt). You can do 5 a day in sunny Fl from now until probably well after New Years.
