If you are planning to take a load from there, get detention time established prior to taking the load. It took me 15 hours to get loaded there yesterday.

On a positive note, the hole in the wall restaurant across the road has a really nice fish dinner 😎

Looking through the load board last night I noticed a bunch of loads coming out of Danville. One of the brokers posting the loads had their rate listed, it was just over $2 a mile. I haul loads out of Bunge Danville often, my average wait time to get loaded is somewhere around 6 hours, I have over the past couple months been there twice for 15 hours waiting to get loaded.

I'm not going to tell someone who or what price to run for, but either have detention time established, or build long wait times into your rate.

BTW the name of the nearby restaurant is Firehouse Fish Chicken & Grill. Excellent fish and fries. 🙂
