What ever happened to ethics and doing the right thing, once again a driver runs up the company credit card, and bails with a load on the trailer, and the truck sitting in topeka,is it just us or is this becoming more and more of a common occurence throughout the industry.

It happens every day and if accually knew the real # it would problably blow your mind. All you can do is screen the ever living hell out of the new hires the best you can. But it is always better to just leave the equipment sit or just sell it if you got the wrong kind of workers behind the wheel of a truck. Eventually you will pay dearly one way or another if it isnt the honest, trustworthy, qualified, and dependable person you need driving them.

Happy employees mean happy customers. Younger generation do not have pride in their jobs anymore. They are not taught "Give 100% or not at all. We had a driver borrowed 4000.00 then quit 2 weeks later. And he was in his 60's.

There needs to be a list trucking companies can add bad drivers to with explanations. Dvrs don't tell you if there going to screw you or not.

Any ideas why the younger generation are as you explained? I blame the older generation for not beating them daily as children, and giving out a trophy every time they wipe their own rear. But I dont think worthlessness is only restricted to young people....

Running up a company credit card for personal use is against the law. I'd be pressing charges.

I've been taken for several thousand by immoral companies. Good companies are harder to find than good drivers. Companies promise and don't deliver. Drivers don't feel obligated to these companies. There are guys I wish I had walked away from immediately when it became clear they were full of it.
