Drove by 6 kwik trips this morning before the sun was up, diesel was at $3.89. Unloaded coming back within a matter of a couple hrs all 6 are at $4.09. Shippers nor brokers are quick to "adjust the rate" for fuel or bidenflation. FSC is non-existent in the conversation. Should a FSC be implemented on invoice regardless? How much longer can we consistently lose hundreds of dollars a week in rising operating expenses? At what point do o/o's park it? Any advice is appreciated.

Same way over Northern ,Mo . While the convoy is headed to DC Swamp, we should go on home and park them while we can still afford to buy enough fuel to get home, and yep I've been noticing in my back pocket that we ain't getting a raise that fast either, I get a discount at Loves and I've see that the discount is getting smaller as the price rises, Wake up America!!!

Set YOUR price where it needs to be. If there are no "takers", then go home.

I have to agree we know what our costs are out here. We need to set the rates higher to adjust to the higher costs if they can't pay you what you need then don't take the load. Thanks guys good points

From Thursday and Friday Same truck fuel $4.19 next day $4.71 not mention Pilot Lov3 $5.05 FL and GA , Im gonna have to cancel the 5 loads because Im not taking the lost anymore Sorry Brokers, Shippers and Farmers The extra money Im asking per load is just for fuel hope this change and get back to normal
