Owner/Ops

5J Trucking is a contract carrier, based out of Texas, that manages a large fleet of equipment specializing in the logistical needs of the industrial construction industry. 5J Group has grown one of the largest heavy haul service companies in the US., with dating back to 1981. We are opening a terminal in Pittsburgh, PA and are looking for Owner Operators to support the Oil and Gas industry in OH, PA and WV.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a hotshot, flatbed, stepdeck and winch truck combination
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations to transport and delivery of products
• Represent the company in a positive manner with our customers
• All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL (Hazmat certification in a plus!)
• TWIC and Safeland /PEC is a plus
• Minimum of two years verifiable experience required
• Dedicated dispatch and administration assigned to you
• Quality and customer-service focused
• Enjoy working with people
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures and; DOT regulations are required
• Successful completion of company pre-employment requirements
• Must be willing to travel and work weekends
