It is getting so expensive to have the thigns hauled away and so much red tape to transport pr dispose of them. we are located in Midland and Carlsbad. Land fills are generally full. What are you guys out in our area doing and how are other people addressign this? Is it a problem for the rest of you? We have just purchased a location and it is going to cost $60,000 to remove old tires! I hve some ideas along those lines and sort of want to connect with others who have similar experiences, problem. Any input would be appreciated.

Long ago.. a friend of mine went to school in New Mexico..i guess there is an old dormant volcano around Alberquerque...quite a few beers later..he and his frat buddies decided to load up this old dormant volcano with a big pile of tires.. lighting it off..get the locals a lot of excitement when they woke up the next morning and smoke was coming out ....thats one way to get rid of tires.. are these car tires or truck?they have places where you can get them ground up

I have identified quuite a number of major trucking companies in the Permian Basin that might have a tire disposal problem. I am thinking if polling them later this week. Do you have any input on this?
