This was an e mail that I recieved yesterday. If this doesn't point directly to what is wrong with this industry nothing does.

Area code(817) doesn't match Cincinnati(513)..Must be a scam or a TQL phishing scheme..

YES I HAVE HOPPERS. ABOUT 50 OF THEM RUNNING AROUND THE COUNTRY....YES I ALSO POST LOADS ON THIS WEB SITE. THE RATES ARE NORMALLY POSTED ALONG WITH THE LOAD INFO. I ASSUME YOU DO THE SAME??????

I believe US Logistics is a spinoff of TQL. Pretty sure it is founded by one of the former head honchos that was there. TQL has pi$$ed so many people off that they have driven their own away, and are essentially creating more competition for themselves.

Gotta remember this is directed at shippers. If you were a broker would you be trying to get their business by saying you pay truckers great rates?

I am a broker. We try to sell ourselves with service not lo ball rates. I am in discussions with shippers every day how the cheapest rate isn't necessarily the best choice. If you were to have major surgery, and you could take bids on where to have it done, would you chose a surgeon based solely on how much he charges?

That's right! We are not a broker company. We do what we can handle and provide excellent service at a fair price. It is by no means a cheap price but we get repeat customers and very seldom have to look for loads. Ladies and gentlemen, base your rates on what your company is worth. If you provide great service then charge for it. If you take everything you can get your hands on and drop loads back in shipper laps then you deserve poor rates!

Why is it that everyboby talks about how bad TQL is but know one mentions C. H. ROBINSON , COLD AND HUNGREY.????? there just as bad as TQL.
