Trucks/Brokers be advised
Expect long delays/gridlock traffic around cities that Solar Eclipse travels thru.
As relates to Gavilon this would include Gavilon St. Joe, MO fertilizer. Gavilon Fertilizer St. Joe will be closed an unable to load trucks next Monday at request of the city.
St. Joe, MO will be difficult traffic-wise next monday.
Thank you

I am not sure on this, but have picked up something to that effect. Specifics I do not know, check with DOT potentially.

Our small Nebraska town, population 12,000 is expecting somewhere between 40,000-100,000 visitors. ( depending on what news article you read). We are a NASA viewing site for the eclipse. Bill Nye - the science guy, will be at our Homestead National Monument during the event. All of the hotels have been booked for over a year and many visitors are coming from other countries. Residents have been advised to get gas and groceries days in advance. Due to our states prime viewing opportunites many state highways will be subject to traffic levels significantly higher than usual. For Commercial vehicles there is a significant chance that they will experience unusual delays - better to have the heads up about it in advance and plan accordingly.

This is STUPID!!! How about just saying "use common sense"? Oh that's right, we are working with a generation that gets offended by being told what to do!

You know how I am going to observe the solar eclipse? By sitting at my desk and doing the same JOB that I do every monday! WTH?!

Everybody's going to Flock in for that eclipse and I checked the weather this morning and it's supposed to rain on Monday. I found that to be rather funny.

I've heard BPD is supposed to be directing traffic all day hwy 4 will supposedly be closed between Plymouth and Beatrice, and I've also heard most of the smaller communities around as far as fire and rescue are on their own for the 21st because of the large number of people who are coming. Although it's like the number of people who are supposed to be in town it's all here say. Truth be told it doesn't seem like the mass migration the papers made it out to be.

Just read an article on KWBE yesterday that said Hwy 4 will NOT be closed. Not that getting anywhere on Hwy 4 is going to be very speedy - but it will remain open.

Thats a positive that they won't be closing hwy 4. Talking with the employees at the elevator yesterday sounds like pretty well everything in our area is going to be closed...or might as well be due to the eclipse. Main Street in pickrell will be closed for see amount of time I'm assuming from 11-2 as the elevator is closed for those hours.

The way Jeff made it sound Dorchester coop is going to have a good portion of their trucks off the road due to the traffic. I've pretty well called it quits for Monday as well as of yesterday, I guess itll be a day to get the motorcycle out given we don't get too much rain.

Be safe on Monday if you'll be down at the office.
