Operation Black & Blue

Operation Black & Blue is a protest against forced ELD's and HOS reform. We have obtained our demonstration permit for October 3rd - 8th in Washington DC.

We will be meeting with representatives regarding HR 3282 (The ELD Mandate Delay) as well as other topics concerning Independent Carriers and their drivers.

It has been a hard road to get to this point. We will be setting up a route though DC and finaling that route out in front of our favorite hated government agency. I pointed out to the FMCSA at GATS that this is a violation of my property rights under Amendment 5 of the Constitution. They know that my company will be suing them in December if this mandate is continued on it its current form.

We have many operations going on across the country at this same time.

1. Log it as it happens
2. Slow your roll
3. Going fishin
4. Shit my truck broke down
5. Visiting the State Capitol

As you can see we understand that not everybody will be able to make it to DC for the big demonstration there. We felt that it was as equally important for everybody that possibly could be involved in this battle against the ATA and the FMCSA. We have been surprised by the amount of support that we have gained over the past few months and are doing our last month push before the Operation proceeds. I realize that a lot of you will be deep in harvest season and will not be able to stop that. For those that can we appreciate any support that we can get.

For more information on the Operation you can check us out at Operation Black & Blue or Mega Mistakes on Facebook.

Troy had 4 dislikes from company drivers that can't think for themselves. I agree with Troy. If truckers actually stuck together, the industry wouldn't be in the shape it's in.

You are correct Troy. We have a pretty good showing for our Operation thus far. We don't need tons of people in Washington DC for this one, even though we have quite a lot coming. It is the other operations that are equally important that all that choose to participate will impact the freight for that week. Wish everybody the best of luck.
