Let?s stop there maybe you don?t no what net means? Net is what you haul in the trailer. So 52,000net/32lb(oats)=1,625 bushels So 1,625X$0.70=$1,137.50 and $1,137.50/488miles=$2.33 a mile. I hope this make sense to you.

I am sorry I forget there?s people on hear that don?t pull a hopper but first of all. Oats weigh 32lb a bushel so industry standard for hoppers is now 52,000 net (if you can?t haul at least this you should be hauling boats not something your payed by the net. Let?s stop there maybe you don?t no what net means? Net is what you haul in the trailer. So 52,000net/32lb(oats)=1,625 bushels So 1,625X$0.70=$1,137.50 and $1,137.50/488miles=$2.33 a mile.
