Hi I've been running a grain hopper working off of BulkLoads in central Illinois and have come to find that you just need a bigger trailer. We are looking to trade just kinda curious if there is some good paying work for end dumps or if sticking with a hopper is our best bet. Best trailer specs and brokers in my area would be great thanks.

End dump is the way to go. 40ft 72in sides barn door, grain chute, rolltarp, spread axle. This will allow you more hauling options also cheaper & eaiser to get a washout.
Also dump work generally pays better than hopper work.

I sold my hopper a couple years ago and went back to end dump. Now I complain when I'm at the loading or unloading point more than 20 minutes.. Rates are much higher for end dump but the only down side is when I'm down around the house in Central Texas most elevators can't take an end dump ( which is horrible cuz that means I have to haul higher paying commodities LOL )
