Cold weather wash

I will need a wash out next week with a walking floor in single digit or lower temperatures. We don't usually operate in these conditions. What should I expect? How do you deal? I usually don't like to go out of the house if it's less 55 degrees. This will be a personal challenge. LOL.

I am not sure what you are hauling, but With the sand and gravel products we spray down with calcium chloride or glycol right after a washout, and it mixes with the remaining moisture in the trailer, helps keep it from freezing. If you dump the same day you load, most material comes out. If it sits over night in those temperatures it will freeze in. Good luck.

Art , if you are loading up in the cold temp, just washout the trailer , but when the trailer is out of the shop , run the floor so the water willn't frezze and casue problem if you are dumping in cold tem again . a lot of the water will frezze dry , and if you are heading in to warn temp , I will not be a problem , again , im not sure what you are reloading , but you may need a washout again when you unload that load , I just hope its Warmer there
