Are there any ELD's that does not have a monthly plan?

No fees, til over 3 trucks, then I believe $5 per truck/ month. Must use a smartphone or tablet. (I prefer the tablet, so im not handing the DOT my phone). Seems like a good one.

I have been using VDO Roadlog. No fees but it was more expensive than the other recomendations already mentioned in replies. I can't move my truck 50 ft without it changing from off duty to on duty when I'm waiting in a line which interupts a 30 minute break that I would otherwise have gotten. Moving the data to the website to edit is a pain but it can be done.

We Were Informed After We Were Initiating The Service For VERIZON That It Wasn't Going To Be Consistently Recognized As There Are Areas Where There Is No Phone Service Making It Inaccurate. Also I'd Have To Carry Multiple Phones So One Would Constantly Be With The Vehicle.
